Irak, detik1.com – Giving the Message of Non-Violence and Mutual love on the occasion of Chehallum (Arbaeen), International Peace Ambassador cum Secretary Satyagraha Research Foundation Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal Chancellor Pragyan International University Jharkhand Dr. Shahnawaz Ali, Dr. Amit Kumar Lohia, Senior advocate Shambhu Sharan Shukla, social activist Navidun Chaturvedi and Al Bayan editor Dr Salaam jointly said that Chehallum (Arbaeen) is celebrated on the 40th day of the Martyrdom of Hazrat Hussain ibn Ali, The Grandson of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad.
Remember that,The Aaniversary of the Martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, the Grandson of Prophet Muhammad in 680 AD, is Celebrated on the 40th day of Ashura, on Safar 20 or 21.
Chehallum is called Arbaeen in Arabic. Arbaeen means forty. In Muslim traditions it is Customary to Mourn 40 days after the death of a loved one. Imam Hussein was Martyred in the Battle of Karbala in Central Iraq on October 10, 680, defending truth and Humanity and worldpeace.
Hazrat Imam Hussain was seen by his followers as the Rightful heir to the Prophet’s legacy. When he refused to pledge allegiance to the Caliphate of Yazid, He was Martyred in the battle of Karbala, along with Hazrat Imam Hussain, 72 of his followers were also Martyred in truth, world peace,Non-Violence and defending Humanity. every year
Millions of pilgrims Gather in Karbala on Chehallum Arbaeen, making it the largest annual Human occasion in the world. The pilgrimage known in Arabic as Ziyarat, is visited by pilgrims from many Countries of the world. More than three Million Iranians go to Iraq for Ziyarat. On the occasion of Chehallum, there is a Government holiday in many Countries of the world including India, in which people of the Muslim Community and other communities tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain by remembering him.
